1. Who You're Ordering From

You are placing an order directly with Jessica Hall, operating as Jezzarae's Bayou Bites. See the storefront contact info for state and licensing details.

2. Food Safety & Cottage Food Notice

All food is prepared in a private home kitchen. This kitchen may not be inspected or licensed by your state's food safety authority. By placing an order, you acknowledge:

• Food may contain wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, and other common allergens, even if not listed.
• Cross-contamination with allergens cannot be guaranteed to be prevented.
• You are responsible for informing us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in the "Allergies" field at checkout. We do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation.
• Prepared meals should be consumed within 48 hours of pickup and kept refrigerated at or below 40°F.
• Reheating instructions will be provided at pickup when applicable.

3. Payment

Payment is due at the time of pickup. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Payment instructions will be confirmed when your order is accepted.

4. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the pickup date with no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of ingredients already purchased.

5. No Refunds After Pickup

Because food is perishable and prepared to order, refunds are not available after pickup. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us directly within 24 hours.

6. Limitation of Liability

By placing an order, you understand and accept that home-prepared food carries inherent risks. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jessica Hall, Jezzarae's Bayou Bites, and any related parties (including the technology platform provider) are not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, injury, or other consequences arising from the consumption of food ordered through this site, beyond a refund of the order price.

7. Your Information

We collect your name, phone, email, and order details to fulfill your order and contact you about it. We don't sell or share your information with anyone except as required to operate this service. Order records are retained for accounting and food-safety incident response. To request deletion of your data, contact us directly.

8. Local Pickup Only

Pickups are arranged at a mutually agreed location. We do not ship food.

9. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated. The version you accepted at checkout will govern your order. Future orders are governed by the terms in effect at the time of that order.
